| It's better to let realization creep up on us because it begins with the main suspect being an illegal immigrant who singlehandedly is supposed to have wiped out a town of 57 people in one night | The pacing was smooth and the actors were top notch! The victims they can find show signs of having been eaten or partially so but the suspect's toothmarks are on none of them though some of THEIRS are on him |
| Of course, then the producer and director would have had to find something else to distract the audience from the actual reason for all the murders and disappearances, but maybe the movie would have been better for it | And, what with the town being on the Mexican-American border in Arizona and times being what they are no one involved with this man's conviction has any doubts that he actually managed this somehow |

| In addition, the acting is truly outstanding by everyone involved - each of these characters are completely believable as real people | Especially when you're talking about "zombie" movies |
The viewer has to imagine from a series of photographs all of these elements, the last moments of these people, all while viewing the sad tale of the one survivor being blamed for a massacre he had no role in other than to document and maybe try to save someone and of officials blind to the fact that a band of zombies is moving ever northward from this town, a band of zombies no one in a position of power believes exists because they found their killer.

| Probably the biggest issue with low budget horror is they try doing too much with too little resources to pull it off | The movie is basically his interrogation by police and the story he tells is chilling and so incredible it is unbelievable |
